Bir bölgenin kültürel mirasını korumanın belkemiğini kayıtlar ve belgeler oluşturur. İşte bu anlayışla Minna Silver, Gabriele Fangi ve Ahmet Denker de modern teknoloji ve görüntüleme yöntemleriyle Palmira kentine havadan ve uzaydan ne şekilde yaklaşabileceğimizi saptadı. Eski haritalar, çizimler, tablolar, fotoğraflar ve dijital görüntülerin tümü, bu kültür mirasının kayıt ve belgelenmesine katkıda bulunmustur.

Oyun kültürünü anlamayı amaçlayan bu derlemede; kutu oyunlarından rol yapma oyunlarına, temsiliyetten çağdaş sanata kadar uzanan birbirinden farklı konularda makaleler yer almaktadır.
